2023 Coronation Cup Scr

The format of the League/Cup is two leagues of 8 players. Each player will play each other in the league once, over the summer until the 30th of September, at which point the league will close, and current standings will determine the first and second places for each league. If you want to improve your chances, please arrange any outstanding games.

Please contact your opponents to arrange a suitable night to play at the earliest stage possible so you're not left with too many matches to play at the end. It's probably best if you try to play one match/round every two weeks, in the order shown below, however not a problem if you can fit in later games based on family or work commitments.

Each game will be scratch & best of 3 frames, no need to record the frame score, but please note any breaks over 20. Please inform Mick Sorahan (or Martin Moors if Mick is away) via the WhatsApp group once you have played a game so the league tables below can be updated.

In the event of a tie for winner or runner-up in the group, a 'sudden death' one-off frame will determine the final placings in the league.

The winners of each league will then play the runners up of the other league as a semi-final, best of 5 frames.

 The winners of the semis will then play a final, best of 7 to decide the overall winner.

The initial aim of this competition was to get members to meet & play other members that they don't know, and for the club to get a feel for what the handicaps should be set at for the newer members of the club.
